Filipino becomes "Superman"

Herbert Chavez, Calamba, Philippines, radically changed his appearance to look like his hero, Superman. After several surgeries in 35 years the Philippines has expanded its jaw, changed their cheeks, chin and even his skin to make it whiter. Then undergo further surgery to be taller and appear muscles in your abdomen.

Filipino fixation with the "man of steel" began from childhood when he saw in the cartoons. From an early age he began to collect objects of all kinds on Superman and currently has an extensive collection. To emulate his idol in all aspects of day works as a designer of dresses and pageant coach, but then the work becomes "the Superman of the people" as he calls the people of Calamba.

Children play with it when they see it on the street. Local people say that Herbert Chavez provides them with entertainment both as positive values. Chavez says "If the kids are happy, I'm happy to know that although (...) should be a normal parent, anyone can become a superhero."
