Disguised as a clown attacked Chilean casino Halloween morning

Disguised as a clown and in the midst of the Halloween party that prepared the site, an individual this morning raided the Monticello casino, located about 50 kilometers south of Santiago.

Police said, the subject entered the room casino games through a side door carrying a weapon that fired several shots into the air, which creates widespread panic among customers of the entertainment center.

The "clown" robbed a customer an amount close to 6 million pesos ($ 12,000) and went the way he had entered, when the clock showed 05.00 hours (08.00 GMT) on Tuesday, according to video security.

Although the casino has not provided an official version of the act, police arrested one of the guards at the casino identified as Christian Poblete, 26, who allegedly was involved in the robbery.

The Monticello Casino is located near the city of Rancagua and 56 kilometers south of Santiago and its major shareholders are the French holding company International Group of Gaming & Resorts (IGGR)
