RAM drunken fishermen nuclear submarine

A fishing boat full of drunken sailors accidentally hit a nuclear submarine off the coast of Kamchatka on Thursday morning, Interfax reported, citing sources from the Navy.


The crew of the Svyatoi Georgy, or St. George, who had appeared and that the navigation lights on, the fishing boat was coming, but attempts to contact the crew via the radio or call your attention flares was unsuccessful, probably because the captain was not on the bridge, and the entire crew was drunk, the report said.


Both ships suffered minor damage as a result of the collision, which caused no injuries. There was no radiation leak, but the submarine is being repaired.


The crash is the latest in a summer sea debacles in Russia. In late July, a party boat crashed into an overloaded barge moored on the Moscow River, sinks into the act, killing nine people. Earlier this month, the boat capsized and sank Bulgaria, claiming the lives of 122.
