Man has almost 9 years sleeping with the remains of his dead wife

A Vietnamese spent nearly nine years sleeping with the remains of his dead wife, stored inside a doll-size, but the authorities can stop him, reported local media today.

Le Van, 57, dug up the bones of his wife in 2004, a year after his death, and since then sleeps with them, often accompanied by one of his seven children, the newspaper "VietnamNet."

Authorities urged him to bury the remains of his wife in 2009, when his case was first published in the press, but there is no law that forces you to do so.

The man, resident in the province of Quang Nam, initially slept in the grave with the corpse of his wife, but his sons persuaded him not to spend the night in those conditions.

He decided to model a clay doll-size, including clothing, and introduced into the remains of his dead wife.
